This is designed to vent any additional extra gases before the bullet leaves. Pass the gills you have your final set of ports, which are machined slightly angled upward, and much larger than all the other ports on the muzzle brake. Again allowing for faster, more consistent follow-up shots. After the porting you have two gills on either side of the muzzle brake, these gills force the gas back towards the user reducing felt recoil. These ports help keep your muzzle down for faster follow-up shots. The Storm-47 starts with 2 45-degree ports immediately following the barrel.
